this one does not :)

re4321

I don't think that's the original shrink. It has serious spine creases, and seems like it has some edgewear at the bottom.. but maybe that's just the reflection. It's notable that his description does not say it is in shrink [I think he changed it].

The seller is selling stuff for a relative, so his descriptions are a little off. For instance, he has the same picture for UK5 up that was already sold yesterday. I think he's in the process of sorting it all out. In any case, that M2 doesn't look shrinked to me.

Sometimes I think Lee and John actually used pre-rusted staples when they published the WD stuff   (JK, I know that's not true cause I've seen two items that didn't have it, neither of which had been stored in the wet basement of the DoKs for 20 years).

One of many Dungeon magazine auctions by the same seller about to end at a fair price:

Don't know about what the combined shipping might be.

If I was into 4th edition, I would not have even posted this one here.

That stuff looks danged cool.

The Dragon Skin boxes I mean...

If I was a big time reseller I would hit the BIN just for those boxes and sell the crap inside them.

Problem is, the stuff inside the box is worth maybe...$30? So you're essentially paying $150 for the boxes. No clue what they are worth, a quick Google search turned up nothing for me.

Don't know pricing for 4th edition stuff so much... but as a guess...
I would think that a savy reseller could get well over $120 without selling any of the boxes.
If that seller knows 4th edition well enough... perhaps more.

There are 5 complete poly-dice sets... at $6 each set there is $35 and another 2 groups of extra dice (12-d6 and 3-d10)
Dice don't care which edition you are playing...

DM Screen - $5 BIN?

Four - 4th edition hardbound books, heck if I know, but $10 per book does not seem overreaching to me.
DMG PHB and Monster book plus an Arcane book.
I see those listed at over $40 for the core rules sets all over e-Bay.
Bet if you listed them at $25-$30 for the 4 they would sell.
Three adventures surely can get at least $15 total (maybe more)

Plus 7 magic user miniatures with the cards, which sell for a buck or more each and some rares (Beats me which ones are rare) can go for ridiculous money.
Minis also don't care which edition you are playing...

A bunch of game cards, which I have no clue.
Doubt they are worth anything...

Wilderness and Dungeon Tiles are selling like hot cakes...
I guess probably $5-$10 per Tile set?
And yes, you guessed it...
Tiles also don't care which edition you are playing...

Miscellaneous Maps... $5?

Chessex double sided gaming mat... $20 easily.
Again that mat don't care which edition you are playing...

I can see a reseller easily regaining better than half of the BIN back with little effort and without selling the boxes.

*grumbles* Acting like I'm not the 4E guy on these boards...OK let's look for real. From the top.

10 minis. I'll give you top dollar and say $10 for all of them combined. They aren't rares.

The Wizard power cards and the Fortune cards are worthless.

The dice sets? Sure. I guess you could put them up with the literally THOUSANDS of other dice sets and wait years for them to sell or just throw them into your own collection like I would have done. Problem is that $6 dice set is minimum $10 after shipping and nobody buys that. You'd probably net $20 on all the dice, let's go with that.

It's 2 hardback books, not 4. You'd probably get $12 for the PHB and $10 for Arcane Power.

The rest of it is actually the contents of 2 distinct box sets. The Monster Vault I actually SEE the box in the picture, the DMG I do not. The modules are inserts in those two box sets. As are the maps. IF they were complete, and we can only assume they are since we only see ONE box in the picture, that's maybe $15 for the Monster Vault (with included adventures) and could you sell a DMG boxed set with no box? Probably not. So, mostly worthless there.

The Wilderness tiles, IF complete, are brand new $10. Used? Wouldn't even bother selling them.

I honestly didn't see the Chessex Battle mat. Quick eBay search shows a bunch at $25 free shipping that haven't sold for weeks. Let's say $15 for that to actually sell.

OK, with my generous (trust me, the prices I gave were generous) price estimations, that's what, $75 bucks? Take out eBay and PayPal fees for BIN and all that jazz and you're down to let's go $50. I said $30 originally at a quick glance, missed the Chessex mat, now I'm at $50. That's pretty damn close I'd say.

4th Edition is my wheelhouse, and I am a bit of a reseller Gnat. If you see the value, go for it my man. IMHO, you're looking at $125 for some boxes. And again, if that's worth it to you, by all means.

Don't mean to sound snarky. Just raises my eyebrows when 4E stuff comes up, since that's my area of expertise. :)

If anything, you're being generous on the 4th Edition prices, Zenfinite.

Is anybody buying 4th Edition stuff at all right now?

Zenfinite:
Yep, I am not even a novice at knowing anything about 4th Edition.
Had no idea those books and adventures were part of two incomplete box sets.

I bow to your far greater knowledge sir...  8)

Is this genuine?

A Rob Kuntz manuscript for OD&D Supplement V, Kalibruhn?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TSR-Basic-D-D-Supplement-5-Kalibruhn-Original-Hand-Written-Manuscript-VG-/130631547256?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e6a3f3978

Since I don't have $2000 handy I won't be buying it, but it'd be fun to read (assuming it's real).

Given the seller, I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'm not familiar with the seller or their reputation.

(I'll go ahead and stick my foot in my mouth and save myself the trouble later on.)
