Better to ask.. good luck getting an answer.

Whoever y***d 261 is, he has 15 of the 18 remaining bids...
(After I retracted my one bid)
Kept raising the bids 50 cents at a time and never got beyond my initial bid....

The seller, NobleKnight just said there was:

Our system lists any printing that contains the Cthulhu mythos as 1st printing, and any that does not as 2nd printing

The seller was claiming to have been confused.  It is impossible to become confused...as the seller was claiming to have done.

Huh? I'm not following. He doesn't say that the 2nd doesn't contain the Cthulhu Mythos but does contain the Melnibonean... and there's no way Aaron's confused about which prints are which.. He just doesn't care how we've classified them here. To him, 1st print has the mythoi later removed from the book, 2nd+ prints are those without.

Six monochrome modules at $31

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dungeon-and-Dra ... 4ab2eaaaa1

Same seller has Tome's Arkham Evil in a lot with a $40 bin.

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

I swear I saw cougar selling this exact same lot last week or two.

EDIT:

NM, it was a different one, similar style of showing just the tops of the modules so that you can't see the actual condition or edition of the module though.

Wasn't sure where to post this, but can someone tell me whether this is a re-wrap?

Good question.  Just about everything he/she's selling is in what appears to be shrink.  One of the auctions specifically states that it is in "after market plastic wrap,"  but many of his auctions do not state that.  It better to ask than regret.  :?

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.

If I had to bet $20, that's not original shrink. Look how it's all loose. Looks like aftermarket shrink to me.

At least one of the auctions claims both (factory and after market)!

Yes, they did come in SW.

Sometimes the pen was attached to the Velcro on the front cover in which case the SW was usually not compromised.

However; I have seen (owned) a copy in SW where the pen had been placed inside the cover after the SW process, it had a small hole at the top of the SW (my guess) so that the TSR employee could slip the pen inside.

I have also seen pens with different coloring.

I've been really surprised at the prices her stuff has gone for... the really, really rare stuff sure, but the fairly-common 'rares' have seemed very robust to me... especially with limited descriptions and a single photo.

(Good for the seller, though, maybe some more obscure stuff will continue to surface :) )

It's because everyone knows about the auctions.  Also, the stuff is damn close to NM in condition.  I've won some of the Wilmark Dynasty stuff and it is in NM with the only defect slight stape rust.

... And it's been a long time since we've had a good collection of rares go through eBay rather than the dribs and drabs than normally crop up. Unfortunately, most of it is well outside my price range.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.
