I took a bunch of castle & dungeon pictures on my recent trip to England, Wales and Scotland. I thought some of them could prove useful for a DM in a campaign. What do you think?

It sounds like a good idea, but drawings have more of a dungeony feel than a photo. Still....

I've been on another vacation, and I took more pictures that might prove useful in illustrating or inspiring a dungeon or adventure. I tried to not include any wires, lightbulbs, radio towers, etc... in the photos, but I'm sure there are a few pictures where I was not successful. You can edit the images to make them black and white, and I am sure there are other ways to make them look like illustrations instead of photos. Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is, it's my birthday! Yup, July 4th. Firecracker baby. Woo woo!

The bad news is, I am having my aortic heart valve replaced on July 7th.

It's a congenital condition, and the doctors have been monitoring my heart for years. I feel great, and everything points to a quick and full recovery. I'll update as soon as I can post surgery.

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.

Dragonflight Convention is Seattles longest continuosly running gaming convention (since 1980). This years dates are 8/19/16 - 8/21/16.
It takes place in Bellevue WA

They just announced an auction will be happening this year:

Good news all the way around. I had a clear chest x-ray, I had a shower, and I ate a full breakfast this morning. My heart surgeon said I could go home today if I wanted! Typically, this recovery takes a week, but I am surpassing all expectations. My pain is minimal, but I am on Percoset(sp?). PDT_Armataz_01_11

Still, after discussing this with my wife, we both feel it's better to play it safe and stay one more night here at the hospital. My wife is worried about all the ramifications of getting a pig valve, but I haven't noticed anything funny yet...OINK!! :pig:
