Just FYI for people that are driving in and parking downtown.  Apparently they are having the grand opening for Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.  And there is also going to be a WWE event at Conseco Field that night as well.  Craploads of traffic, no parking, and all of the restaurants will be full.  Better make your Saturday evening dinner reservations now!  :P

Huh...I dunno....I guess we wont have to worry about it.  The only thing I will be worrying about is which butt cheek I need to switch to at 1 a.m. because my backside is asleep from sitting in the auction room for far too long.

Guys I really do not think we will have a problem finding a place to park or eat on Saturday.  There is always the Redeye Cafe, but I believe we will be able to go to any resturant you want.  We might go a little early say 5pm because the auctions begin at 6pm anyway.  As far as parking, that's my worry really.  Anyone coming in to indy will park at their hotel.  I'm the one who will have to find a street parking space.  I also work downtown and can park at my place of business (not convenient but do-able).

Hi,

if anyone gets REALLY stuck for parking, the hotel I'm in charges $25 per 24 hrs.

Cheers,
Malc

On a different note....anyone who has ever wanted to see what LGGC and a game of D&D with Frank Mentzer as DM is like can check out these videos that one of the guys from Dragonsfoot recorded with his video cam:

http://www.ustream.tv/MrReaper/videos

And this video that they shot and dubbed over is simply brilliant:

The Burntwire Boys

By my math that puts us at 28 participants.  And the 3 dignitaries (Frank, Tim, and Tom) dinner is on the Aceaum members.  Hopefully we will pick up a few more before Gencon Rolls around.

Question:  is there anyone not on the list that you think would like to be there but perhaps hasn't gotten word?  Is there any other dignitaries that we should extend an invite to?  PM me or answer in thread.

The reservation is for The ACaeum.  IF that should get strange stares ...try my name Martin Britt.
