Will probably do a tour of a few places.  Definitely have to visit both LA and New York to see the cousins.

Guys

Just posting King's pics again.  He has modified his photo albulm and the previous links were broken.

ie. they changed from

to

Some random guy taking a nap (saw a lot of that going on):

Al versus Gleemax:

Martin, Mike, and The Brain:

And last, but not least...Tonya sans chainmail:

If you look closely you can see Al and Mike in the background grousing about the the nutty prices.  Course they were still ten times better than Troll and Toad's.

Great pics, guys.  Looks like a lot of fun, and it's always cool to see the faces behind the Acaeum ids.  :D

So tell me something:  are the prices on those items the opening bids, or what?

The prices were reserves IIRC.  It would have been a little silly to start the Daystar mods off at $10 don't you think?

Oh, and thanks Improv for correcting the links.  When I modified my Photobucket folders I came back to the forum and checked to make sure the links still worked and they did.  I figured they were ok...guess not.

In fact, that might be the back of my head in the front of this photograph.  Hey! -- is my hair thinning back there?

flying_purple_monkfish wrote:and why are there no photos of scantily clad barbarian schoolgirls? (wow.. now there's an image)
Bah I say, BAH.

No barbarian schoolgirls, but here some barbarian booth babes (say that three time fast) pushing some "Conan" game:

Image

Looking at my photos after the con, I discovered the easiest way to spot professional models at Gen Con: They're the only ones with tans.  Gamers are still a pale-faced bunch.

Here are my personal highlights:

Gary autographs my first DMG:

and Rob kills my elf at the Saturday "Warlock's Walk" game:

All in all, a pretty good weekend.

Contrarian; I remember seeing you at the Warlock's Walk game and at the auction, you should have said hi!

I love the photo of the barbarian booth babes....especially the one at the end with the bored as hell look on her face "I am so fuckking tired of holding this stupid ass sword for these gamer geeks!!!"

I thought Grodog was filming an episode of "That 70's Show" all weekend... :D All you needed were the psychedilic sunglasses to complete the look...

Thanks for all these pics, really it is great for those of us not there to see what it was like. I am still insanely jealous.  And it is also good to see what some of the acaeum crowd look like in real life.  You handsome lot!

This is fantastic ... now I know what you all look like ... So during the next GenCon auction I know whose drinks to spike.  Some strong laxatives should keep you out of my way.
