This was listed for days.

I am assuming we are refering to the shrink here. Is there anything other than fewer copies and completeness making these more expensive? Ill also ask for a price check. Was this price a bit too low or high?

The item you are referring to Tszii, I believe the seller didn't really know what they had. In my opinion, it is highly sought after for what is inside the covers vs its rarity. Its rarer sibling with the B/X1 sticker is what I am looking for. :)

I don't follow all sales of B10 but looking at some tracking I have done, I have the following: (Note: these are auctions and BINs)

SW 250 4/22/23
SW 900 4/25/23

I would deduce that really nice copies can run in the $200-$400 range and SW ones can be anyone's guess.

The Ravenloft module vexes me. I see sellers sometimes selling these three to five at a time in SW and it still commands these prices. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an all time great adventure and can be considered a comic’s version of a ‘key’. But wow.

I thought about bidding for a minute when it was first listed. That was a wasted minute.

Did you see this one? Its got a name written in it, but is otherwise really nice on the inside at least. Still so darn much though - it was a BIN.

Tszii, I still have more items (much cheaper) that I need to get first before I start dropping 1k+ on a single book. For me, that DMG is a luxury/status symbol that is probably a couple of years away from me truly entertaining. Was that an auction or BIN? If it was an auction, I question if it’s worth 1,200 bucks to the general populace or if this was two people who really, really wanted it that drove the price. Maybe there isn’t a difference either way, a book is worth what someone is willing to pay for it and in this case it was $1,200.

I agree it is more and more difficult to find a decent copy nowadays but this ended at 1000 bucks! I believe it's a bit high... in the last years the average price was 4 or 5 times lower...
