I'm not too into probability and statistics of dice rolling either but I imagine there are simply too many variables in actual dice rolling tests and the time it takes to get accurate results. It's funny you mention this, because that video has got me so curious that last night I took some D20s out and rolled them repeatedly, looking for a pattern. Nothing scientific, I didn't write down the numbers or make out a bell curve. I just sort of rolled them idly while watching TV. I sampled 5 dice, and I'd guess I rolled each one maybe 30-40 +/- times, and I didn't notice any glaring repetition in results. I believe I got a good random spread.

But like you say, I'd probably have to roll them 1000s of times and record every roll to really see a pattern.

Just for the record, all the dice I rolled last night were made by Chessex. Most of my dice are from this maker.

...Because they are just so darn pretty.

I have a friend that cut a chessex die in half. It was filled with many many tiny air bubbles/pockets. So with that being said I don't think they could possibly have equally weighted die without going through the effort of removing the pockets. The exception would be the six sided dice they use at casinos. Those dice are measured and checked for quality assurance to make sure they are legit. I don't know if chessex makes those though.

First martial arts tournament of the year this past weekend. A baby one for local schools that teach the style of my teacher. It's really a warm-up-get-to-know-people-from-the-family type of deal. Two gold medals for me, and first ones at that.

I'm usually runner-up or third. Tai Chi empty hand form, and TC weapons form.

Next up: considering a regional in DC this June. Haven't been there in 10 years (my first tourney in 2006).

I haven't been on here in years so I have to post this general question somewhere, and this is as good a place as any!

Does anyone have a spreadsheet listing all TSR modules? I'm thinking Excel or similar. I have a whole cupboard full of stuff, both TSR and otherwise, that I'm attempting to catalogue and this would save me hours of time. I could get the estimated values from here, but typing/writing out my own spreadsheet would take me more time than I can spare right now.

The stories of health-related deaths were circulated in the press as cover stories, and the film Batman vs. Superman was made to explain away the accounts of those who saw the fight. The Earth Wind & Fire guy was an innocent bystander.

I just returned home from seeing Captain America: Civil War, and I was quite pleased. It was highly rated and lived up to the rating. I won't provide significant spoilers here in case you are wondering. I will recommend you see it. I went ahead and paid for the 3-D IMAX experience, and there were times when the 3-D technology could not keep up with the action. Pus, just wearing the 3-D glasses for 2 1/2 hours wears on your eyes a bit. I am not sure the extra expense was worth it.

The movie has lots of action scenes, lots of dialogue, and lots of location changes, but you don't get lost along the way. The new characters, Spiderman and T'Challa, were both well done. The humor level is lower overall, and not cheesy. Iron man is notably more serious and not quite as.... fun as past movies. The special effects are good and don't appear over-done. One of the characteristics, and appeal, of Marvel comics over the years was its ability to portray super heroes as human, and this shines strong in this movie.

There were previews for the upcoming Star Trek movie, the Tarzan movie, the new Independence Day movie, and one or two other previews. There were two additional scenes after the closing credits. You don't want to miss either as they impact Marvel movies in the future.

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.
