I thought it was good. I am not much of a Madonna fan, but I liked it better than the last few.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I agree. The majority of the half-time shows for the last many years were junk. This one was entertaining

Vampire commercial was funny....cause I fucking hate vampires!

That's all I watched, took my wife to a movie cause I hate both the Giants and Pats (a 5-2 overtime win would have preferable).

Was Madonna using a walker, or is she still mobile? Cause she isn't relevant anymore. Guy Ritchie is the big badass in that ex-couple now.

Ok, so I just saw the highlights:

Detest both the Giants and the Pat's, but far happier with the Giants winning than Bellicheat and Tom Boy.  Eli really is Mr. Clutch at this point.

Welker dropping that pass?  Cmon, it wasn't like Jackie Smith dropping a TD pass from Staubach that hit him in the mother frakkin bread basket in Superbowl XIII.  That was a gimme (Jackie Smith is still on the hook for that one from Cowboy nation), but this one was a stretch.

No problem with the Giants scoring there at the end instead of falling down, and no problem with the Pats letting them do so.  For the Giants, a kick is not automatic, and losing on a missed field goal is a gut punch....the other team letting you run the ball in from that distance to give you the lead, you can't pass that up.  For the Pats, if you have Tom Brady driving the bus, it's not impossible to score a TD in less than a minute, better than taking a chance on Tynes missing a 20 yard FG.  But again, people have to bitch about something.

With no rooting interest, my wife and I do what we usually do when two teams are in the superbowl I couldn't care less about...find a restaurant without a TV and make the place our own. We gave Freebirds a try, we were the only ones in the place, awesome!  Tasty burritos, you choose the ingredients, type of tortilla, sauce, etc and they make them in front of you.  Gonna have to try them again sometime.

Do they put any meat in them yet?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Sounds real good!  I love Mexican food, even if you can't find any dogs or cats any where near the restaurant.   8O

My best friend summed it up like this:

"If you list all the Superbowl halftime shows that sucked...this was the best show of the one's that sucked.  It certainly blows away last year."

What do the wide eyes mean? Is it something about being a mentally retarded hillbilly, or is it due to all the inbreeding?

Hmmm.. wont argue that point.
Seems likely really, but I lived in Southwest Wisconsin for about a year.
Did land surveying for two seperate companies with 85% of the work being in the country climbing up and down hills, crossing valleys, farm pastures, through thick and thin wooded areas, crossing creeks.... etc.
and though I did see plenty of sign, no actual deer.. not even once.

Rode a motorcycle to work most days (Except on ice) and saw no deer and never saw any road kill either.
On off times and weekends I did a lot of riding with my then 1st wife too (along with some local friends).
We always prefered to ride the backroads through the countryside and none of us ever saw a single deer.

See a lot more of them here in North Texas.

They're all over the place in Austin west of the MoPac railroad/highway. Thought I saw a bunch of late Xmas decorations in a yard next to a busy intersection - no, it was a half dozen deer standing perfectly still & staring at me as I drove past.

Pfft. Come to Ithaca sometime. Deer here are like rats on a 16th century merchant vessel. I routinely have 6 - 12 of them hanging around in my yard. And I live on a fairly busy road between Cornell U. and town.

(link removed -- FoulFoot)

I got a notification email that told me to visit this Acaeum topic.

When I got to the link, I had to sign in.

The site in the link looked strange, but I just figured that the Acaeum had changed its look....

Did someone just fish me and get my login password?
