Slight spine roll and a non-creasing bend at the corner. Aside from that, about as fresh & good condition as it's possible to get. In that context, not a high price IMO.
TD 2 & 3 went cheaply, though, as seems to be the way nowadays.

What was amusing is that I hadn't spotted your update to the other thread, Ian (badly timed "Mark all forums read" or whatever) and I went and "rediscovered" that independently.

Ironically, by the site grading that might be more likely to fail NM for the tiny crease at the top right than the non-marking curving at the lower right and spine c-url.

I really hope no one from here did what you suggest.  I consider it a form of stealing but there are arguements on both sides.  Sad.

Like you said faro "unscrupulous buyer".  I would hope that the people here are not "unscrupulous".  I'm not naive however.  I'm not interested in a code of conduct.  I just hope that we subscribe to a higher personal standard.  Otherwise what Coug does is fine, right?

Yes it was... and still is.
The buyer got away with TWO HUGE rip off buys there.
The seller was (IMO) ravaged to death in this case.

Unscrupulous buyer and unscrupulous seller if we're going to start casting aspersions.

The seller listed the items at $8.99, and did not set a reserve.  They then yanked the auctions in favor of a higher guaranteed price.  They're circumventing the eBay reserve fee by doing so, but the joke's on them.

"Sellers are not permitted to cancel bids and end listings early in order to avoid selling an item that did not meet the desired sale price. This is considered to be reserve fee circumvention. Although there are legitimate reasons for ending a listing early, abuse of this option will be investigated."
