It is indeed.  I missed that one, but from looking at the end price I wouldn't have won it anyway. ;)

As i already poste in the MARKET PLACE: Ravenloft's interesting auctions and links thread on the FoS boards:

If anyone still needs the Arthaus/White Wolf Tarokka Deck - in original shrink no less -  check out this classified post at the acaeum. Original retail for the deck was $ 21.95 iirc, though the seller is aware that the deck is oop and hard to find. Make him an offer....

The Wraith is yinyangpro on eBay (the seller of the above item), so I don't think that he has a copy left. ;)

What's with this madness?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250510395460&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

The DDG isn't even a 144-pager.

EDIT: Ah, I see now. 0-feedback bidding war. I wish I could see the user IDs. I have a set like this that I'd be happy to sell to the runner up for this price.

I guess...but I wouldn't pay more than $5 each for the beat up orange spined PHB and DMG or the screen, and $10 is pushing it for the similarly worn earlier books. They don't look that bad, I suppose, on 2nd look.

$9.29 per item before shipping...

shipping is reasonable for 7 books too.

I agree I wouldn't pay AT ALL for orange-spined PHB or DMGs... but it's not that silly of a price.

Not an eBay auction but an Amazon listing from HPB in Dallas with the most overpriced Unspeakable Oath 8/9 that I have ever seen.  8O

Don't even get me started on Amazon dealer pricing.

I swear what happens is one dealer has a typo, and that then sets the market for everyone else...

How else explain this (non RPG) insanity?  http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/ ... dition=all

I recently picked one up for $20.  I assure you I do not suddenly feel rich.

Because of the enormous commercial possibilities should he succeed.   :D

If these are limited printings or part of a build-as-you-go set, then the first volume should see some price appreciation.  OK, even I don't believe that.
