Nah, I'm just a lurker who doesn't have the time to read posts too often, much less make new ones. I got into D&D with the Moldvay/Cook Basic Set, and that beautiful cover has been one of my favorite pieces of D&D related art ever since. The opportunity to actually get an Otus print to put on my wall was what finally got me to register here.

So If I am 55 on the list (mark1107) does that mean 54 more people will be waiting to get a copy after the first 50 people? Or am I fifth on the wait list after the first 50 are guaranteed there's if they paid their money?

Having got on board a bit late (#52 on the list) I didn't feel like I ought to have a vote as to the number of prints made - I'm not particularly greedy.  Nevertheless, I am happy to have been bumped up from 'waiting' to 'on the guest list'.

BTW, I don't post too often here, do I still count as a 'serious' collector?  I'm being curious rather than sarcastic.

Egg of Coot - I really do not think its about the number of posts.  It's about what you have done, what you do, and a presumption that you will continue doing for the community.  You participate in this community by donating your talent in painting miniatures to the community among other things.  (I tried desperately to win this years set of miniatures you donated, however Bracton wanted them more)

I would have no problem with those individuals having a copy who registered to our community only to get on the list, if they would have continued to post and somehow shown that they want to be members of the community.  As it stands right now, they have done nothing to show that they value this community.  I predict that they will get thier copy and we will never hear from them again.  I would have no problem if the committee just chopped them from the list.

Just curious, how many new registrations on the print list are people concerned about in the first place?
