World Series Of Gen Con Poker -- Cancelled It is with regret that we inform you the World Series of Gen Con Poker event has been cancelled for Gen Con Indy 2008. While all aspects of the event were in full swing and, as in years past was believed to be working well within the law, we were contacted in late May by the Indiana Gaming Commission questioning the legality of the event. Unbeknownst to Gen Con LLC and the company contracted to run the event, earlier this year the Indiana Gaming Commission formed a task force whose purpose is to shut down poker tournaments. Weeks of conversation and negotiations yielded nothing except the knowledge that unless the tournament was completely free and offered no prizes it would be shut down and anyone involved would face prosecution. Needless to say, Gen Con LLC had no choice but to cancel the event for this year. We will begin processing refunds to the players who have pre-registered for the event and hope to have that process completed prior to the show. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Customer Service while onsite.

Besides paying $265 for a print of two dragons that goes for $35 on the exhibit floor should not be catagorized as a bonehead play. It should be catagorized as an unbelieveably generous donation to charity.Yeah, Lawrenson, you want me in your booth I overpay for everything.(Damn that was the worst purchase of my life).Martin
