Sorry. I could not resist. I have not seen a white box in shrink wrap without the starburst. I have seen quite a few with the starburst.

Hey, Scott, it isn't clear whether it's a fourth or fifth print.  Let us know after you open the shrink.

Still not a huge number, most with notable faults. Three, maybe four in similar condition?

Remember there's more than one print run of those boxes. Place your bets accordingly. ;)

Depends on condition.

Really? Condition? I hadn't thought about that...their condition looks pretty used to me. I'd say a VG is the best grade in there, probably more like a GD+ or a VG- but i'm not an expert like most of the users on here..

I like several people on here have several of the items sold, and just couldn't justify spending more than $500 (my max bid) on items in worse condition than what I had already

I think the final price is fair (a bit surprised it went that high for the condition).  I don't think a reseller would be able to double their money at that price - the highlighting inside every book is a huge condition issue.

Not on eBay, but Martin Brown (in the UK; he goes by Grognard Games on YouTube and G+) is selling some of his rarities @ https://www.facebook.com/groups/1213900 ... 359631823/

His items for sale include:

- 2nd print woodgrain
- Australian printings of G1-3 and D1-3
- 1st printing CoC deep box
- Fighting Wheel
- 1st 20 issues of WD
- at least one issue of Owl & Weasel
- a non-TSR rarity I've never heard of called "Razor of Righteousness"
- and much more (including CoC, Warhammer FRP, and plenty of additional RPGs)

He's sending me a list that I'll post after I receive it.

Indeed...

It was disconcerting to see those described as "first prints", comparing with the overpriced $125 US copies on NKG, when Martin was recording those most-welcome vids on YouTube. I trust someone flagged the difference to him?

Initially, I had not since I assumed he was talking about 1st AU copies or something like that. I did ping him after your comment, though, just in case, and he had not been aware of the relative difference in rarity.

:) Thanks, Allan.

A pity about those reasons for selling (and no longer making those vids), but hopefully the extra $$ will be useful.

Hi Everyone,

The Australian editions weren't actually flagged up to me, and I hadn't spotted it - they've been living in their (opened) shrink wrap and sealed in bags since I made the video. They've just had an offer through that's been accepted, and thank you to Allan for posting the link and being a great help to me.

The channel stopped (but hasn't officially ended) due to my work life taking off in such a way that I couldn't consistently make video content of high quality. I was very keen to make another on dice that discussed platonic solids in much more depth, to get more on the record with the frankly fabulous Rob Kuntz (I really can't remember how many phone call hours we had outside of the channel, but everything from politics to education to creativity and just a lot of laughs - everything was FUN to talk about, on every occasion), but time went against me. I'm not averse to resurrecting the channel at this point in time, however I'd be more inclined to involve communities like this in it and drop the dead weight content for something very specific, appealing, and fact checked for maximum enjoyment.

And more interviews of course. Anyone happy to appear, make yourself know and we'll make it happen :)

I'll do the list when i have a moment or two. If anyone can put a value on 'Razor of Righteousness' (I've never seen this anywhere else and it's really, such a good book) and the AD&D fighting wheel (has the errata sheet and sleeve - quality as seen in the video), I'd appreciate it.

Hope this link works properly but it appears the Razor or Righteousness was part of Mayfair Games 'Demons' boxed set

Dark Corners Of Role Playing: The Many Hells of Mayfair Games - A Closer Look At The Demons Line Of Products For Use With Old School Horror Games

and i think there is a pricing for the combat wheel under the rares topic on this site
