I wonder if the Myth Information might be a fan club/zine thing that Robert Asprin was putting together? It would be a collection of fiction with some illustration work

Kind of looks like it might be... I found this --> SMIG: Myth Adventures Fan Club Part1 and further tracking down shows it was the "official" club newsletter for the Myth Adventures Fan Club. A date for this was started in the mid 80's so it falls in range with it.

On the University of California Riversides Fanzine Collection search, it shows issue 12 was in 1988, issue 16 was in 1990, and 18 was in 1991.  Link --> UC Riverside Library . In the auction, it says issue 14 has a 1989 date, so if it was a quarterly fanzine, that would fall directly in line. As with all my posts...just my 2 cents.

I messaged the guy and he posted some more pics. I chatted with him a little and come to find out he bought all the stuff up for auction now and some D&D,AD&D modules he sold recently along with a bunch of space games and metagaming product yet to list for....wait for it.....$40!! he said cost him about $1 per lb.

Sounds like a great deal even if the items are in poor condition

I'm always suspicious of bidders like that - newly created account that seems to mainly be bidding on this auction, etc.  This lot will likely go for a fairly high price so in the end a bidder like this generally doesn't impact the final result.

Plus it's not a starburst OCE edition. Did they come shrinked? Not sure how many non-OCE I've seen in shrink...but that's a big plus too. And the condition is spot on. I bet the price isn't actually THAT far off for a 5th print cherry in shrink.

How much for a nice clean copy nowadays?
Those white textured covers are a pain... :)

Softcover UK edition edition MM and PHB?  The overseas shipping is a pity.

$23.60 is probably under the "official" Royal Mail cost for their packed weight; certainly less than it would cost to ship with compensation from the US to the UK nowadays. Those aren't the best copies (OK; spines not detached for a change!) but admittedly the current price isn't high... Somewhat undervalued books for lack of an Acaeum "main" listing?

Yes I think 4th print and on came SWed.  This seller is pretty good with his best offers. If someone doesn't jump on it I bet you could get this down to the 500-700$ range. I recently aquired a starburst box in SW and is one of my new favorites but this just looks sweet.

Sorry.  I could not resist.  I have not seen a white box in shrink wrap without the starburst.  I have seen quite a few with the starburst.
