I watched the 2011 version of Conan the Barbarian.

Whew....I already feel better.  For those of you that have seen it...I sincerely feel your pain.  And for those of you that havent seen it...DON'T!!!  Forget about all the arguments about it not being true to the text.  Even if the name Conan wasnt in the title and was instead called Turdgar: The Glaring Barbarian, I would still hate it.  I wanted to rip the DVD out of the player after 15 minutes and set it on fire, but I didnt want to put my Netflix account in jeopardy.  So I decided to suffer through it simply because even with all the crappy dialogue, bad acting, goofy costumes, and awful plot, there were still some pretty decent boob shots.  Jason Momoa can sneer, glare, flex and growl pretty well but that's about it (go figure, he played pretty much the same damn character in Game of Thrones).  Oh and before I forget, the CGI blood and gore was done very poorly.  Pretty much anytime anyone got stabbed, punched, kicked, slapped, or screamed at, blood flew everywhere.

So if you are considering buying or renting this movie, save yourself the time and trouble and go watch something decent like Highlander 2 or John Carpenters Escape from L.A.

Yes, it is that bad. I got it from red box a couple weeks ago. Take the name Conan out, and you would never knowit was a Conan movie. They also managed to rip the Howard right out of it. Even so, it was just plain crap. And I do't mean it was so crappy, it is good. It is garbage. Moving on.

It took my 12-yr-old almost 15 min to get one smoking.
