Are those Greyhawk reference sheets? Kudos to whoever snagged this before I got a look at it. ;) If they are, share some scans or pics with us so we can take a close look at them.

EDIT: They sure as hell are. DAMN NICE GRAB!!!

Yup, they sure are.  A very nice pick-up for the winner with the lightning click.  (No, sadly, not me.)

I was more interested in the cross-check apparent confirmation of printing order with the correction sheet, actually. ;)

(Buyer could've done with hitting a couple more BINs while they were there and seller was a bit ungenerous (*jk*) with the dice...)

Great grab!   That is the deal of the month.  It would have been interesting to see what that would have sold for if it had not been a BIN.

I agree. If the information under the listing on the main website is accurate; that is, only 3 are known and only 2 are complete, the value has to be in the thousands.

If I remember correctly, my cousin has this. At the top, I think it reads "The Compleat Anachronist" and then "Deer Abbey" in large letters. Its an SCA publication about an abbey back in the medieval time.... I may be wrong though, but I'm pretty sure thats it.

EDIT:

Helps if I read the text of the auction ;-) You can still purchase this new through the SCA's web shop --> SCA Marketplace :: Compleat Anachronist
Its on page 2. It will probably be a later print though. Here is what the SCA page says about it:
Deer Abbey: Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread
From Matins to Compline at Deer Abbey; property, income, and policy at Deer Abbey; a detailed, first-person tour of a medieval abbey

Hope it helps!

Bonus points if you can work out the (non-EGGish) link between that and Ghost Tower of Inverness? ;)

The seller states that "these books were used by an active gamer." Who appears to have led an interesting life.

$1000+ if the books didn't contain names and the dreaded highlighting.  Would be nice if there was a sample of how much highlighting there really is.

Ebay seller wrote:certain sentences are highlighted that directly affect the game for quick reference

From past experience, this is often every sentence on every page.
