reputedly, the Gygax collection had over 10,000 items.

Even with TSRs stream of output, there will be quite a few dupes.

No cigar box this time I note (unless I missed it)

These SAME Sticker Packs can be had for a buck each nearly any day on e-Bay.

I have about 20-30 of these Packs all in original packaging (Plastic wrap).
Never paid over $1 (USD) for any of them.
Most I got for closer to 25 cents each in lots.

So sell some of them and make some money.... geez...

LOL, every single item that goes up under this with the signed cert from his collection ends ludicrously over priced.  These are no exception.



In fact, I think I recall seeing a SF:Alpha Dawn box set sell for like $150 in the first round of auctions and then the buyer resold it for um... $35 6 months later.



Although, to be fair, I shouldn't throw stones - some view the 'shrinkophile' syndrome as the same.

One thing I am surprised at for the latest Gygax auction from the_collectors_trove are the triple digit amounts that the catalogs are getting up to in the bidding.

Are these really that rare and hard to find?

Yeah, that was the gist of it.  Like $300 cash, opened it, resold for $35.
