I've three hundred, literally, modules that were accepted by TSR, and never published. [Would you like to buy them for $1000 each? They are the only copy (except the one sent in) and are original manuscripts.] That is the thing with unsolicited material - the Wiki never mentions a contract, or intent to publish, only that it was accepted. Well, duh. You mail it in, they open it, read it over, and then, likely, toss it or laugh. There, likely, never was a response, either, as they wouldn't have wasted their time to say "gee, thanks, Bubba..." when they were getting, probably, in the order of hundreds of these per week - that makes any specific one not historical in value unless it happened to actually get contracted and not printed.

Eh, well, whatever. If someone wants to pay obscene amounts for something, go for it... but don't expect it, or demand it, from others.

I'm generally only a lurker around here, but I seen enough posts to know if the regular contributors around here (bclarkie, badmike, et al) thinks something is a scam, it probably is.  To the point that I would need to see some incredibly convincing evidence to the contrary to believe otherwise.

As for your good bye... nice knowing you... NOT.  You're not the first to take you're scam of a gaming item and go home when you were outed and probably won't be the last.

I'm curious as to who Drowden was.  I find it odd that two new users would edit the same page when it's something so obscure and nothing else.

If I am not mistaken, that is a Drowden.

Wiki is the most impressive business model I've seen in years. They pay out nothing except maintenance fees, and they have the entire world to create the entries for them. There are idiots out there who actually swear by it as if it's Encyclopedia Brittanica.

i know, one of my cousins went to europe to visit a friend who had been an exchange student.  she went to visit her school and was shocked to find wikipedia being used as reference material for lessons about the united states.

Probably worth more as a filling meal than anything else.

What I find interesting about the now deleted Wiki entry is that it never made mention that atari had 2 copies.  It was updated so that Degassy's copy was added but not the 2 that atari has.

I imagine the journal-quality studies were done by qualified individuals who, as a reference source, used................ Wikipedia!
