how well do you know copyright law?? (c) is implicit + applies even if not sold. permission still needed to copy + third party not allowed to sell copies for profit as you requested unless OK'd

Again, I want to stress that we we talking about a privately circulated newsletter produced in 20 copies or less and virtually impossible to find. I can't understand such level of indignation - yes copyright laws in Italy are the ones you guessed, but I'm sure law must be interpreted with common sense.

no indignation only you asking to pay for copies of (c) material illegally without asking permission even when seller has direct line back
if that is ok with acaeum owners am sure will say. sure illegal copies circulated on this board in private but nothing can do about that

sounds more like frustration with something probably did not know existed one month ago?? law is law + have thread here to report ebayers breaking that. anything else is double standard

You can't be clearer than that - rarities are one thing, but breaking the law is, in my opinion, a big no-no. I realise I am being a bit extreme when I say the following, but the logic is basically sound. - If you are willing to break the law, then why not find the address of an acaeum member in your country, and rob them - pictures of their collections have been posted so you know what you're getting, and a hold-all could easily carry must of the serious rares you need!!

( I have said this and realise that I have personally asked for pictures of peoples collections - luckily no UK sellers have responded recently - though if Brendon would like to forward me an air ticket to Oz it would be my pleasure to rob him :lol:  :twisted: )

(This is a bit of a joke but as previously quoted - the law is the law)
