Could have asked for a slightly higher BIN, though. ;)

@Grug: *nods* Even $250+ wouldn't have been too much of a surprise.

Actually this was the original auction starting at $6.99

** expired/removed eBay auction **

The seller got completely duped by someone here to think that $125 was worth ending it early.

Not a bad BIN for a North box set - though I think the price of these has gone down recently

Mhmm... not quite as blatant as the /turnaround/ on the Outdoor Geos BIN, though? (Anyone commenting about people making money through BGG/RPGG could probably do with taking a look closer to home at those making money through the channel provided here whilst contributing little or nothing to the actual site content, if that's actually deemed an "issue").

I hate that I can't find what everyone is bidding on anymore - saved me making all the effort myself. (Still never won anything though!!)

Of course, you can still search for a known users completed/won items - so at least I know what new stock Coug has got coming in!!

Hole-punched R1 in "fine" condition? VGC will be a bit of a downgrade in that case...

The buyer hasn't stepped forward ... yet. It shows up on my account as "4***n" with a total of 194 feedback.

Indeed.  No idea who that is.

I contacted that seller shortly after their auction to see if they realized the value of what they had, I got kind of a snippy response back from them.  Admittedly, it was a bit of sour grapes on my part, but I can't imagine that auction would have ended under $200 had it run its course.  To me it smacked of a naive seller getting taken advantage of.

Yes I did too. (Got the same sort of Snippy response)
Seller wrote back and said he could not possibly care less what he COULD have gotten, saying he only paid  $1.25 for them (At a garage sale IIRC) so anything more than that was pure profit for him.

What do you expect with a name like Donkeyfoal?

I'm now having visions of the Clerks 2 "Kinky Kelly and the Sexy Stud" scene *shudder*.

For those that may be looking for this item.   You don't see it to often.   The Gencon 2000 Limited Edition Dune RPG by WOTC / Last Unicorn Games.

Nice item, but it doesnt belong here.  Please put non-TSR stuff in the non-TSR thread.

Actually....didnt this thread used to say "Interesting TSR Items on Ebay"?  Or am I losing my mind?  8O

Has always relied on forum context for people to "know" that, IIRC, and rather easy to miss the non-TSR equivalents to the TSR threads when those have fallen down the page. :)

I think it was originally TSR but then the nonTSR forum confused people too and it there seemed to be one forum/thread for TSR D&D and the other nonTSR and TSR other games like Boot Hill and Gamma World, etc.

Actually, if you are pushing your own auctions, please post them in the classifieds section.  It is usually bad form to post them in these threads.
