I didnt feel sorry for anyone but Vince Young and LeSean McCoy.  The rest of them can go jump in a pot of boiling piss for all I care.  Especially Desean Jackson.  He was barely there for the game.  If anyone needs to go its him.  I've always thought Andy Reid was a pretty decent coach though.  Based on what I've seen in the media, he probably stays.

And I dont feel sorry for the Giants either.  Apparently Eli Manning can't stick up for himself and needs his daddy to do it for him.  "Leave my boy alone Troy Aikman or I'll whine some more".     And even though I hate Tom Coughlin, I at least respect him.  He is one of those coaches who seems to be able to get his team to win even though no one else gives them a chance.  That's why I picking them to upset the undefeated Packers.  Crazy....I know.

I dropped Desean in every fantasy league I had him in.  I won't play a guy who isn't even trying.  I really am shocked they fell so far so quickly...they might lose out at this rate, and I think Reid takes the fall and is fired.

I have to think Eli was really embarrassed by that. Archie needs to stop living vicariously through his kids since this looks like the first year in a long time either one or the other of his QB sons won't be in the playoffs.  Maybe Archie is pissed he'll be watching the playoffs at home this year instead of in Indy or New York.

Are you thinking of Clash of the Titans 1981 version?  The effects by today's standards are awful, but back then, the medusa and the skeletons fighting Perseus and his fellow soldiers was pretty cool.  

I also liked The Sword & the Sorcerer (1982) where that guy shot out the blades from his triple-blade sword.  Totally impractical, but way cool.

Jason and the Argonauts was 1963.
Dragonslayer was 1981
Beastmaster was 1982

I can't think of any 70's movies.

I've been having a big hardy har har about the eagles and their "Dream Team."  Perfect.  Perfect!  May the eagles and all their ilk enjoy 8-8 seasons from now to Judgement Day.

If I were the eagles owner I would give Reid a significant contract extension.  People in philadelphia might have forgotten, but he's been the league's most successful coach over the past decade.  But, in a city that throws snowballs at Santa and needs a jail and courtroom located right in their stadium, they just might be stupid enough to fire him.

It's the Seahawks I'm wondering about.  What a strange team they are.  If anyone else here watched the Seahawks beat Balitmore, you'd know that it wasn't really a close game.  The Seahawks clobbered the Ravens...dominating on both the offensive and defensive lines.

The Seahawks have multiple personalities.  It's wierd.

That's sort of what I'm wondering about. It certainly made a big impact on me at the time, even though it was an instantly disappearing flop. Now however I realize that it was one of the first in its genre (Spring '81). No wonder I liked it.

It seems to have been recently released on DVD in Germany, hopefully a Region 1 version is not far behind.
