This thread has had a problem for a long time, but you probably never noticed.

Back when I started the thread (good ole post #1) I listed a few bits and pieces. One of them wasn't in hand though! That deal fell through, so I've spent four years looking for a copy of Unspeakable Oath 2 (at a less than unspeakable price - the recent ebay sale at $275 was not me!).

Finally it is COMPLETE!

I'd like to see this too! I purchased several Midkemia Press items that were sold as being in the original bags and had each of these mentioned. Curiosity got the best of me, and I could lay hands on them quickly, so I checked and I had the main book and map in each bag but no newsletter. Was this only in certain copies? How was the newsletter distributed?

I've manhandled many a Midkemian in this millenium and the last, and I've managed only a lone matchless miracle of Far Coast Crier discovery, so your guess is as good as mine.

I only knew of the newsletter via the Tome entry @ Tome of Treasures :: View topic - The City of Carse (1980) and based on that, it sounds like the 2nd edition of the book included the flyer. Is that case with your copy, Bill?

I'd guess I've processed 15 copies of Carse 2nd edition in the original plastic unsealed bag over the years (including probably 6 direct from a distributor) and I've only found one Far Coast Crier anywhere, so I can neither confirm nor deny that supposition councillor.

The time I spent trying to decide if issue 5 should be in the third row (for width balance) or the bottom (for cover design balance)...

Another little Cthulhu subgroup I decided I had to have recently.

That I was able to find them so quickly might have had something to do with it. For the curious, the 2004 product is the hard one to find.

Thanks for the link. Good news - it sounds like I do have a copy.

Similar to Bill, I have probably had about 6 copies of this and only remember the flyer in the one copy.

Great looking pictures! I guess you can tell which countries had the best sales to keep translating the later sets. I guess no Immortals box set was ever translated?

Indeed!

It is quite surprising to see the 4 boxes being published in Finland, where the total population I believe is under 6 million people. I can understand that for Italy, or Germany.

Yes, according to my research, the Immortals rules were not licensed to other languages (or if they were they werenever published)

Some oddities too; for example I recall the norwegian expert rulebook has a lot of Companion set material in it.
