I don't know, but it should definitely have lots of reaction shots of slack-jawed teenage gamers, as they're being served cocktails by the Playboy Bunnies. And Bill Murray, to reprise his role from Meatballs as the DM who teaches the kids to believe in themselves. And some inept bumbling security guys who try to spoil the fun but end up with some humiliating physical-comedy comeuppance, along with a managerial type who's sort of like your vice-principal.

Don't forget the stock character of the "old biddy" who thinks D&D is Satan's Creation and pickets the outside of the Playboy club, only to be physically humiliated by the end by one of her own hidden vices that come to light.

The Star Frontiers Alpha Dawn 2nd Print that was sold in one of the Gygax's auctions is being re-sold again by the buyer.

BIN is US$80.00

Fun fact, this item was sold by Paul in the auction last December for US$151.00.

At least I think it's the same one.

He took it out of the shrinkwrap?!?

I would have bought a different one off Ebay that wasnt previously owned by Gary and kept the other in shrink.

Kind of like buying a brand new car, sandblasting all the paint off of it, and then selling it a month later for half what you paid for it. Doesnt make a damn bit of sense.

The gulf between the minimum and the BIN first caught my eye as amusing, but the provenance is actually sort of interesting.

Only 3000 copies seems like a pretty low number for this. Its harder to find by mainstream TSR standards but not really that difficult and a lot of them that come up still seem to be in shrink. I probably would have guessed 10,000 or more were produced.

Wow, that's not the way to maximize your selling price... I would think a reseller would get close to $10k piecing it out, tough to see the lot going for half that... I wish him well though

And of course the OCE and all of the supplements, including the Spiral Chainmail.

In the last photo at the bottom of the description are all Four Box Sets from The Complete Dungeon Master Series

The Halls of the Dwarven King (Crushed Box)
The Lost Shrine of Kasar-Khan
The Watchers of the Sacred Flame
The Feathered Priests

Each of those is very tough to find... with Feathered Priests being the one I see most often.
It goes for around $25-$50 (depending on condition)

I think there is something in that for for everyone and I agree, seriously doubt the bidding is anywhere near finished.

Very impressive lot...

The Feathered Priests is pretty "common". The true rare one is The Lost Shrine of Kasar-Khan in box. Only one or two in 3-4 years IIRC. Last one , 1 year ago, went to $112. I am not sure that any other copy has popped up on ebay since this one.
