I am thinking that the size of the sign is more important than the weight. I notice when I print postage labels now with USPS (I use Stamps.com), the box size is a huge factor in the price. I am wondering what size this is and what the actual shipping ends up being.

Yeah, Montana is awesome. We are up about 6,000 feet, so even in the summer we frequently get snow, the weather is calling for snow all day today too.

The drawback is the nearest (adult) gamer is about 80 miles from me. The good thing is I have 4 boys, and the two oldest play D&D on a regular basis.

I actually purchased the sign from Mike must be over a year ago, along with a lot of other things. Unfortunately Mike couldn't ship the sign with everything else, and I have not been able to contact him for quite a while, and have not received it. I did receive a few shipments from him over many months, and he was very helpful providing a detailed background of every item - including the sign I believe, so I have no issues with this at all. I am concerned though that he hasnt responded to any of my emails for the better part of a year - and very concerned if anything has happened to him.

If anybody knows how to contact him - I would very much appreciate it if you could let me know.

Just to prevent confusion concern in the future.  I have communicated with Degassy31 and there is not a pending ownership claim.  Assuming of course that the dern thing arrives next week, lol.  What an interesting purchase this one turned out to be!

There is no update on Mike's status, unfortunately.  I know people are concerned about him and he must be a great guy, but the only information I have is effectively hearsay and I promised to keep it private.  I assume Mike will wander back here if he desires.  I only know anything because I bought the sign and have been diligent trying to make sure that the sign was not stolen.  With that issue resolved, Mike's business will remain his, although I would love to have a beer with the man someday.  His collection and his Dwarven Forge displays were/are awe inspiring.
