I came across the DunDraCon DCC "Tomb of the Blind God" with the Otus cover on their website and ordered it, but what I got was the white cover version.  After opening the package, I went back and checked their website, and they still had copies for sale, but the photo/scan of the Otus cover had been taken down.  Sleazy.

Being my contrary self, I feel the need to relate my "good" T&T experience.  I won two separate eBay auctions/BINs for the Traveller pack-o-modules from Judges Guild.  They arrived as advertised --- shrinkwrapped, near-mint, whatever.  I didn't pay attention to the eBay picture, since I ignore T&T pictures.

OTOH, I just won a Kevin & Kell RPG book, and I am now worried that it will arrive in les-than-advertised condition.

When I first discovered T&T I did have good success the first couple times I ordered from them and managed to fill some gaps in my rpg collection.  I was very happy with them but like a light switch it's flipped to the exact opposite as of late it seems they've become much more lax on their grading system, to the point I can no longer trust their judgement.  

Anyway didn't mean to derail the thread with my off comment about T&T.  My only point I meant to make was shrinked doesn't always mean better.  Some people can re-shrink and it can hide flaws.  After my ordeal with my shrinked CoC screen and SF modules form T&T I don't trust shrinked anymore.  The Internet allows anyone to purchase shrinkwraping material these days.

The one that T&T has on E-Bay right now has been up there for a LONG time.... for well over two years.
It was first listed at $8,591.06.
They later dropped it to something like 6k, then 5k, then 4k and now they have it at 3k...


My copy of Orange B3 is NM in shrink.
I once had it listed on E-Bay at a starting price of one cent with no BIN.
That was while T&T had theirs at $8,591.06.....

And another copy in similar condition had just sold on E-Bay for $3,050, just a few days prior to me listing mine.
That sale was the main reason I listed mine, and at that time I would have accepted any offer for slightly less than that amount.

My Reserve was obviously higher than the final bid.
There were 19 bids total and the ending bid was $1675 made by TFM.
A respectable amount to be sure, but I was hoping for a bit more so I still have it.
And it is still available............  ........ for the right price.
So... someone shock me with an offer and it can be yours.

I've seen Aneoth's copy.....it is mint-a-licious.

And buying something from T&T is like trolling for hookers in Oak Lawn in Dallas....you might get pleasantly surprised, but more likely you could end up with a STD, or worse, a trannie.  Buyer beware.

Yes the DG was perfect, a screaming deal really.  Thing is shortly after I ordered a "Nm" Misty Ilse and got shipped and dogged eared written in peice of crap

Really hit and miss with those guys.
