Prime example of how these wild stories are elaborated on in every telling.
If you do a google search of hybrid dog maine you get 526,000 results with some from "credible" news agencies such as MSNBC and FOX.

I live in New Brunswick, which borders Maine, and there are no vultures in these parts. Our carrion birds are limited to the usual crows and seagulls.

Just another example of why you have to be critical about anything you read on the Internet.

GSDs amongst others are technically-speaking wolf-dogs, too, albeit a wolf is a dog is a wolf, anyhow. "Hybrid dog" is always worth a chuckle, as though that were somehow "unusual"...

And as for those ABCs in the UK.
