** expired/removed eBay auction **

...i thought a spartan edition of the boxed set would have priced for more... if we consider this is the NK price, that it is deifinitely low!

Do they only ship to Mexico?

This BIN or Best Offer lasted literally seconds:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I opened the listing, it was available, then gone!

It's in bad shape, and possibly incomplete, but almost certainly worth more than the BIN the seller had on it.

Was this item already reported here (likley in a shady items/dealers topic)?
Does anybody know the story of this weirdness?

Good memory on that, I sold a B3 and an orange ( or a drawing of an orange by one of my kids if it went international!) I think Bclarkie won that one.
(Also had a joke auction for a "lost" tomoachan but it got reported to eBay!!!)
Happy days

Any guesses on what this actually went for?  With a BO auction, even 75% of BIN price is a pretty hefty amount for this boxed set. I don't think they are that rare in this condition just yet.

Interesting, especially since I have one listed for $999.00.

Just wondering, if any of you do a search, can you even see my listing?  I've had some issues with this relatively recently.   :?

Yes, just checked and I am in the UK. Can see your listing no problem.

On that sale, I think that's just how things go on ebay. Often people just don't check for other options, and so the prices vary (though the Silver Ann box sets have been climbing up steadily). Good luck to whoever bought that though, looking at his dodgy feedback

I have noticed with BO auctions, people like getting a deal.  So getting $300 off on a item looks/feels better to them than just a straight sale.  You could price it higher but don't take anything under $1k.  You might get more activity that way.

These folks are just ahead of the curve for 2024. :)

Everyone that has the 50th Anniversary set also wants a Silver Anniversary set.
