it was fun while it lasted. lol. did I do it? OF COURSE I DID

shipping has gotten so high these days. even with ebays discounts.

i don't know if anyone on here does it, but how do you turn a profit at all shipping FREE? i know raising the price of an item is one way. how does it work in the long run?

also, i like many buyers just don't want to pay $15 shipping for a boardgame (if you are into them). it's just ridiculous

It just means charging $25 and offering free shipping where I might list the item for $20 and require $5 shipping. I don't see it anything more than a good marketing ploy.  Some people do very well doing free shipping, I find, but I don't personally like to do it.

I ship virtually everything free shipping, and yes, I just increase the Buy It Now price to accommodate. The money you are sent for shipping gets "taxed" the same way the payment does, so there is no difference in my final money. You get the added bonus of perfect 5 stars for shipping price, and honestly, buyers go for free shipping regardless. All the time. :)

Not to mention buyer can't hassle you about shipping rates when it's "free" shipping.  Can't tell you the number of times buyers complained because the cost to ship the item was .50 less than I charged.  Oi.
