That then raised the question of why big name sellers are excluding international buyers from their auctions as a matter of course.
I used to bid as a matter of course on stuff aimed specifically at collectors. I'd win occasionally, but for the most part I just drove up prices, not having the deep pockets others have.
But pushing up prices may have been of benefit to sellers. Or maybe not. Who knows. The point being, sellers over the past few years are limiting their buying pool to US only clients, and whilst I do see the adverts when they appear in Classified, usually they are just blank, and I put that down to eitgher I'm too late, or sellers don't want to ship to the UK.
I don't have a problem with this. I reallise the UK Laws are now anti-online seller orientated.
The question only came up because a non-US poster had managed to see a Collector's Trove auction and I wondered how?
Was it just my browser or was it a limitation imposed by the seller? I'm not trying to cast any shade to either yourself or Paul.
I am merely wondering why the move away from the open international community to a more insular national one.
Habit? Oversight? Protectionism? Genearal community trend? A push by eBay to deter such things perhaps?

What is interesting in this auction is the patch applied on the shrink which amends the suggested level of the characters... i don't remember these stickers in the past auctions... was it always present on SW modules?
