burntwire brothers wrote in CGC Grading Etc...:Here are some links to more videos. I am personally on the fence about grading. Now that the Heritage auction has ended and there are auction sale prices to go off of I am sure the prices of grading just went up.https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... ot+selling

DiscoDadda wrote in CGC Grading Etc...:Phil,Hi, I was wondering how CGC grades a Module with a seperate map that is slightly larger.... For instance the Demons of Dundurn the book is 8 and 7/16ths and the map is 8 3/4s.... Would you place the map behind the book? Should I include the map? or would CGC not grade it? Forgive me if this topic has been discussed before. Please Advise. TY.Best, Disco
Philflound wrote in CGC Grading Etc...:I saw that the Heritage auctions were a bit mixed. Some pieces went really high into the $1000s, while other pieces barely broke $50. Overall, I heard the owner of the collection was happy with the results.Phil
Philflound wrote in CGC Grading Etc...:We've been getting some pieces in, but not as much as I thought. Phil
Zenonmarfat wrote in CGC Grading Etc...:Any idea Phil on when or if Heritage will be doing another D&D specific auction of items? Thanks, Richard
Tszii wrote in CGC Grading Etc...:Things seem to sell a good bit slower now than last year. I only stated selling last year, so that may be a false signal. Bad Mike may have a better idea.

Philflound wrote in CGC Grading Etc...:Was the module sealed? If so, was the map inside or outside the book? Usually contents are put inside, and sometimes will stick out slightly on the side. As long as it doesn't look like any damage will occur, we usually do it this way.Phil
Philflound wrote in CGC Grading Etc...:I wanted to give a slight update since it's been a while since I've written.I see "D" signed on many pieces, but I do not know who this is. Also, there are more initials in other modules, I think "DSD" or something like that. Can't remember off the top of my head. Early D&D modules usually do not credit artists. So if anyone can help fill in gaps, let me know. I'd like to add these artists to the credits.Phil
