Yes and no, Bill. Character sheet pads have multiple sheets of the same thing, which I would define as used; a module missing pieces or a boxed set missing dice is literally incomplete. From a collecting standpoint, though, it definitely could be viewed as incomplete.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Thanks. It arrived exactly as described and pictured, with the original baggie and all. Also got the Palace of the Vampire Queen(1st) from the same lot, although condition was much much less pristine (and missing the copyright page unfortunately).

Will the Acaeum Valuation board ever take these non-ebay auctions into account for items?

We do add in (verified) non-eBay sales to the values of very rare items, though this is not comprehensive, since we rely on either seeing the sale ourselves or being told about it. This sale (of Tsojconth) was added. We much prefer to add sales that resulted from an auction, rather than a Buy-It-Now type price, as the former resulted from a competitive process where the market set the price.

Edit: I would love to know how many of these are possibly still floating around like this. Not only were they probably expensive to produce vs regular modules and accessories, but packaging them for shipping must have been 2 to 3x more than normal as well. Curious if Frank or anyone else could shed some light on these.

Rare opportunity to pick one of these up, if you don't care about the stratospheric price. Maybe they are worth that price now?

Last one that I'm aware of selling went for $3,563.28 in 2021, which was a big jump from most previous sales.

I bought one a few months ago for a bit more than your 2021 sale. It was posted on this website. Given the rarity I would say the asking price is not off. However rarity has to be considered along with popularity, and those sets are not as well known.

Just like Stratochamp's tagline is "shrink is not a condition" I'd like mine to become "Rarity alone does not drive price, popularity does"

Given the prevalence of links to this community and ebay sales that straight up use descriptive text (and prices) from the site - I'd say that The Acaeum does a lot to stop that from happening in this little corner of the gaming market.

Should have just done it as an auction. We'll see if it sells.

The condition is not great. Also has the fairly common warpage problem these modules can have when they are left in the SW.

When I saw this first thing I thought about was BadMike's comment on FB after the other one sold, something like "I have a SW on I'll sell for 20K if interested" (assumed it was partly in jest)....Figured Clay just took that comment and ran with it.
