"A buoy in Manatee Bay, Florida, reported a preliminary high ocean temperature of 101.1 degrees Monday afternoon, according to meteorologists...Neighboring buoys are not reporting the same triple-digit temperature. Those buoys are reading more in the mid to upper 90's, according to meteorologists."

How is this even possible? Do they really mean you could swim in the ocean & it would be as hot as scalding water from a tap? Leonard Nimoy's In Search Of series clearly explained that we are heading to a new ice age.

I know the thermometer in my pool was reading 93 the other day. Little too warm for me but everyone else thought it was ok

This all reminds me of when I was a kid and it was actually kinda fun to talk, and maybe hear adults complain, about the weather. Does anyone remember that? Its a serious subject now, depending on where I am. No joy in it.

Based on historical heating/cooling cycles, we were. Mankind trumped Nature; pumping 38 billion tons of CO2 per year into the atmosphere wasn't happening then.

Just posted my 8k post, only the great Al (Killjoy) has a total that high. Also noticed June was my 20th anniversary on the site. Thanks to Foul and all of the contributors to The Acaeum for providing friendship and memories the last few decades, it's been a fun ride! Love you guys.
