No, that's totally wrong. The edition number is the logarithm in the shrinkwrap function, unless it is Planescape, in which case it would be the exponent if written in exponential form & not the base.

I think this will fall under the category of the person should have started bidding lower and see where it gets, suspect bidding might've gotten to 1k+ but noone will lift the buyout.

I believe all the info in this book was regurgitated into the History of TSR book in the Silver Anniversary box set.

$1,500 & $1,000 opening bids (looks like the auctions just started).  The seller is jubee_39 (zero feedback eBay member since 06/21/21).  Shipping from Bartow, Florida.  

From the book #6 description, "Most interior pages are in near perfect condition - opened twice since in my possession 6 years ago and kept sealed previously."

I sent the seller a question asking about provenance.  No reply as of yet.

From the seller - "Unfortunately I do not have very much information for you. This item was a gift along with 3 moving boxes full of similar modules, books, newsletters and wargames. The original owner had passed away (Charles R. Wranovics) before they were given to me. I have no real knowledge or interest in them but upon further research learned that a few had a lot of interest online from collectors. They have all been sealed and stored in my home office since 2016. I sold one of the Domesday books previously (#13) and the buyer confirmed originality. Among those books were many others dated in the same time period, with the same address and name. The issue #13 had the postage stamp and date on it. This item however does not. I really hope this helps! Please feel free to ask any other questions and I will do my best to help."
