My biggest concern would be mold not knowing what all that dirtiness is.

Fortunately, D&D collectibles are provisioned this eventuality. Simply look for your copy of the Monster & Treasure Assortments (TSR's companion products for their line of geomorphic game-aids), and roll the 20-sided die two times, reading each number as the last two digits of a three-digit number if the result is zero, & then zero, or the tens digit, & then the ones digit for all other percentile outcomes. Consulting the tables might, or might not yield results such as Anthropomorphic Slime Mold (2-3), Random-encounter Succubi (1D6+1), or Party of Liche-masters in Regenerative Form (2D4-1). The results of these encounters will be described in future publications.

I recall having a couple 2nd printings and finding out there were 2 places they were published years ago, and IIRC Belfast was the one that the Acaeum didn't have listed. I've been meaning to head up there and scour the area sometime.

Not sure what you mean by missed a deal. It was not a buy it now auction and the seller ended it early.
Chainmail 2nd Ed, 2nd prints are from Belfast Maine and that is how the listing reads here on the Acaeum.

Hello.

I am the seller in question.  I never even heard about this place until my buyer mentioned the website by name.  We're you suspicious of a scam or something?

I didnt realise other boxes of the same sort came out. If they go cheap then surely this is the pathway to forgery.... quite something to consider if i was ever to pony up for a woody

This was very common with the UK softcovers, and it was a necessity if you wanted them to last.  In this case, it's kept this copy looking fantastic.

I saw this and was thinking about this convo and was going to post.

I'm very tempted but wont go. I've never seen a copy this good looking though (though im sure many here have NM+ copies).

Still, id probably pay 60 quid for this - despite the laminate.
