Sniping seems to have pretty much become the norm these days.  There is virtually no reason not to snipe.

I agree. Everytime I tried being correct and placing a high bid a lot before I ended up with some moron who placed bids in the last 2 minutes and then gave up, leaving me to pay much more than what I'd have paid sniping.

This isn't going to stay low in price very long.

That thing is going to be sniped to high holy hell.  Seems to be sort of a trend now, letting the rares sit and then everyone going all nuclear in the last five minutes of the auction.

No doubt about that.  I am curious to see if the snipers hit Aneoth's Orange B3 reserve price.

It is unlikely that they will, snipers or otherwise.   8)

But if one or more bidder/sniper does get there (or higher)  8O  watch for me to be a tad bit more visible on listings of other Fantasy and TSR D&D Collectables for a while........

Otherwise, its back to the Glass Bookcase for The Silver Princess..........

And back to the usual all but invisible bids background for me.

It's a hair above what I think they should go for. Snipes are possible up to about maybe $1,750, but there's no way anyone is going to bid anywhere close to $3K. That was ridiculous.

So Troll and Toad's price is around six grand too high? Wow.  At that range it is probably the most overpriced RPG item on the internet, not to mention Ebay.

I was a little surprised Aneoth's item didn't get over 2 grand, though.

Why were you surprised, Mikey? Other than the idiotic $3k one, has one EVER gone for $2K?

There was a very rare wind-up D&D toy with a Buy-It-Now price of $10,000 on Ebay around a month ago.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

This is the only one I have ever seen but the price is crazy.

I wasnt surprised it didnt go for that high.  The one that went for over $3K was an abberation.  If thefantasymuseum didnt bite on $2000 I dont see a whole lot of other people doing it either.

We've posted a lot of hysterical wishful thinking here over the years, but that guy just might be our all-time winner.

If Foul announced that he was pruning this thread to just one silly price ... well, that wind-up toy would get my vote.
