I am glad to be far away from DFW.  BadMike must be shifting his RPG/boardgame stock around.  :)

Got myself a new friend a few months ago, a pudelpointer:

http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/pudelpointer.htm

That's not her in the pic, but looks just like her.  Amazingly, I found her in an SPCA shelter.  She has developed into an incredible companion.  I've never had such a loyal and tuned-in dog.  Follows me everywhere, is eager to learn and do things right, and learns very quickly.

Anybody here have much experience with hunting dogs?  She has an incredible radius.  I take her out into the public ag lands Penn State owns to set her loose and let her run.  It seems no amount of running saps her energy.  She's a bottomless pit.  Very skilled pointer and stalker too.  In fact, she kills squirrels, rabbits, and even groundhogs (marmots).  I've never seen anything like it.

love the beard thing going on with that one! very distinctive. We had an afghan hound that was beautiful and also brought down rabbits given the chance, even whilst still on the lead, used to fire off the path suddenly into a bush and grab!
He even pinned our boxer dog, when they were puppies, by the throat once and it was clear he was giving a warning as to who was boss, as he could have squeezed if he wanted to!

Thought I would post a couple of leaked images from two movies that I am sure everyone is dying to see:

Conan 3:

The Hobbit:

Is it me or does Arnold look like a little old woman in that shot?  The steroids and HGH must have really taken their toll.  As for the Witch-King picture....I knew New Line would screw The Hobbit up somehow, but they got Dol Guldur all wrong.  That actually looks like a pretty nice place, not some hellish fortress.  I guess they will amp it up with CGI during post-production.

I won't comment except to say this is why stats are rolled randomly in front of the DM, not done at home where no one can see "yeh, seriously, I rolled three 18's!"

Why did the Sega 32X fail?  It was so simple . . . wait, the video consoles from other companies were simple.  The Sega 32X was simple like D&D 3.5 is simple.  :)

Penny Arcade has a phallic picture of a physically-possible setup, though I don't think it could work in real-life.  Maybe King knows.  :)

. . . http://www.penny-arcade.com/2009/5/20/

For those who have no idea what is in the picture: Sega released one Sonic cart that plugged into another Sonic cart.  I guess that could be attached to a Game Genie, which in turn might plug into a cleaning cart.

The hardware, from the bottom up, is the Sega-CD, a Sega 16-bit console, and the Sega 32X.  So far, the 3 pieces of hardware make sense and work together.  The next piece of hardware looks like the Sega Master adapter, and I don't own one of those, so I don't know how it connects to the rest of the hardware.

And the accompanying NSFW comic strip describing said joys of such a setup:

ashmire13 wrote:possibly a little leftfield, but would anyone happen to know the artist of the red dragon w/Santa on its back, which was in Dungeon #81 as the front cover of a TSR pullout advert. My copy is not to hand as it is with the tattooist who I am using, (although the tattoo is being done without Santa!)
I'd just like to do more research on the  original artist before my next visit to the chair.

sorry to go back a ways, but I (again) forgot to grab the artist name when I was last in the hot seat, although I am back in on Wednesday for more ink..

I was about to attach a pic on this message but I don't know how to.... as there has been soooo much cake over the past weeks, can anyone help in getting my tattoo pic on view for some artist name advice??

Cheers   :)

Using a photobucket account will be the easiest way to get a picture in one of these posts (they do all the code for you and you just cut and paste the code).  It's free and handy if you frequent a bunch of forums.

Imageshack is another option but a little less easy to work with (same idea though, they generate the html code to link the image in your post).

:D  how easy was that! Never had a photobucket account, but all sorted now, thanks for that...

http://s700.photobucket.com/albums/ww3/ ... gontat.jpg

(hope that works...)

So, does anyone recognise this dragon or style? It was part of an advert in an old Dungeon mag and had a demon style Santa riding its back (which I chose not to incorporate!!)

Cheers

Wonder who it will be that will push this one into the forbidden "101 Zone"?

I was thinking of posting a word per post to have a go, but thought that maybe I'd receive a stern word from Foul...
