The preview was mass produced and fairly easy to find. It was a pullout section in one of the Dragon magazines and also available for free (I think) from game shops to help promote 2E. The only difference between the two are the staple holes.

Thanks for the details. I had seen one recently selling for $10-15 by itself, so I was thinking it was not so common. Good to know that it was an insert in a Dragon Mag'.

I didn't realize it was the same seller. His first auction apparently didn't detail the condition of the books. The relisted auction does.

Probably because a dozen people sent him questions about the same item.
