For a birthday over this last weekend, the wife and I made a root beer flavored pound (bundt) cake in the form of a castle. It was tasty. I'll have to see if I have pictures of it.

Keep in mind that Venezuela is a country on a continent where they kill soccer players for making mistakes.

Either that, or the pharmaceuticals in the water are having an effect.

I'm willing to test a bottle or three to see if it is indeed better than the American, Scottish and Canadian whiskeys!

Damnit!

Just great!  The picture I have from there when I was 12 is a fraud.  Now I'll have to go back and get a new one taken in the right spot.  :x

Naw, they'll just redraw the state lines... I mean, if New Jersey can get the Statue of Liberty, then why not?

Is point/marker on someone's property?  Does it mean someone else will now be putting up a completing marker/attraction?  Does it mean that the survey for people's land is also inaccurate?

From the article.
.............  surveyed by the government in 1868 during the initial survey of Colorado's southern boundary. The survey was inaccurate....

That survey was originally made back when they had a sextant/compass/ or a transit, for angle measurements.
They transported equipment and workers on mule drawn wagons or horses with (Hopefully) gunmen watching for indian attacks.

Land Survey's are far more accurate in modern times, and the indian threat is mostly over with.
Transporting equipment is much easier too.
GPS will also get better results over a compass.
The use of GPS is actually the reason that earlier survey error was discovered, and corrected in the office.
However; last I read, the new point has not been placed and perhaps wont be.....
