It looked like Brette won some monstrous compendiums (not in shrink). Is the ebay member porthawkesbury, mwshore1 or 2now4 on this site? I noticed that Shaggymatt won a Lankhmar module in alleged shrink from the seller, too.

That was a Great BIN price ($45).

Someone got a really nice deal there.

These go for more than that for any two of the books alone.

I have seen quite a few three book sets without the slipcase go for higher than that.

For me the only interest I have in D&D3 or 3.5 is converting material to AD&D.

This is listed as a basic set, but it's both the Holmes set as well as an OCE, thought the box looks a little warped

These have been hard sales at that price lately on auctions. Dunno why. It'll probably sell, but I'm guessing single bid.

Needed a bit less glove? (There's gotta be a better reason for that (photocopy?)...)

This guy is going iron man on some RPGA modules (and a bunch of uncommon and common stuff as well).

Low minimum bids on R1, R3 and Elixir of life.

AD&D portfolio

The text underneath Advanced Dungeons & Dragons is different to the text on the one shown here (can't quite make it out):

Ah - just noticed the other ones are only D&D, not AD&D

I never noticed that before. The ones I had in the portfolio versions all had "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons".

Jeez...this guy must have a huge stockpile of H1's.  He has been selling shrinked and unshrinked copies for quite a while.

The last batch I remember was 8 or 9 copies of H1 as seperate auctions. Always better to space these kinds of auctions out more than that to get higher prices.

I've watched a bunch of them from this seller.  Its at least his 5th or 6th copy in a row.
