Yeah, er, um, $500.00 USD for R4* way too steep.  Especially when the seller noted slight rust on the staples in a message I received.

I suppose on any given sunday with the right bidders, but still. 8O

Do we now see an R/RPGA** rash of auctions to try and cash in?

Best,

Paul

Lol, whoops. RPGA4 not R4!    I shouldn't be looking at the R1 when I type. ;)  Still 500.00 US with, "a hint of rust?"  Crazy indeed! :D

I would have thought that only RPGA1 and RPGA2 would have been able to hit the $500 mark - all of the others seem more common.

rpga1 would have been way over $305 if light on photo angle had not made crease look bad

Here's an R1 starting at $250, high, but well below the recently ended one.

I'd wager somebody sent the seller a side-offer on it.

guys, in case anyone is interested. i brought over with me, a R1 and R2. Their conditions are not amazing, i would say they are solid VG's - if anyone is interested in them, while i am stateside, now is the time to make offers, so i can ship them from here, while i am at Badmikes

Can you get a picture of the R2?

The listing mentioned that he had R2-4 and would be listing them later, and would take offers yada yada.   I think it was a little overpriced to begin with (although not with respect to this weeks R-series auctions).

uk basic book

That went considerable cheaper than I would have expected - $68.48.  I was thinking it would hit at least $100 or more.

Nice pickup on Warriors of Mars for $270 too - it was one of the nicest looking copies I have seen.
