I would likely petition to play the thief/assassin anyway.....
And if not, the advice is appreciated, I read about what happened....

I have read and heard to be wary of Giant Shrews too, when delving in or near a certain manor. :lol:

they really needed to go west from that room, through the torture chamber, to the ruined corner of the manor where the abandoned temple was.....now THAT would have been an amazing encounter, as mike would have been putting an appearance into the game.

i was gutted it didnt happen.

ah well such is the life of a DM i guess

Thanks, but I'm not sure I'm that famous. Besides most off what happened really wasn't that dramatic. I'd hate to write something boring. :wink:

People like to look into windows - call it the peeping Tom syndrome. Your perspective on the gaming industry and specifically TSR would be interesting to many people...I suspect many here at this site would be very interested in the going on at TSR as you experienced them.

I hate hero-worship but I have to say you were my favorite module author.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

This did cross my mind ~ It was a matter of how to contact them AND would they really want to be bothered (well, you gotta figure?)

The curious list of TSR writers, artists - still needs to be refined ~ Things like when did you start writing (4 the rulebook / module creators)? or who were your artistic influences (4 the artists)?

It would be interesting to know if any of their education, experiences, or siblings (possibly military-origins) propelled them into their TSR / fantasy writing careers.
