Threads like this really piss me off.  Not only is reading them a complete waste of time but there is also no clear cut way to find out who is telling the truth.

momof4greatkids:  Seriously....do you really give a rats ass about what a few people on a D&D collecting forum might think of you?  You have no name to clear here.  If this BS did indeed happen, all you should care about is what Ebay thinks and according to your statements they have cleared you from all wrongdoing.  Although as an attorney and an Ebay veteran I would think you would understand that by bidding on an item you enter into a contract with the seller and if you win you are obligated to pay for that item.  Breaking a contract is against the law.  Maybe you need to go back to law school.

And as for the supposed forum member that contacted momof4greatkids to let her know that coastiemike8 was dragging her good name through the mud here....if you actually had a problem with coastiemike8 on a previous transaction, why the chickenshit behind-the-scenes manuevering?  Why have another person do your dirty work for you?  Probably because you are not a member in good standing here and just looking to brew up trouble because you have nothing better to do.  Either that or you are just a figment of someones imagination.

All this over a stupid $20 plastic toy.

No thanks I have had my fill of law school and have practiced law for over 15 years.  But, if you had actually READ my e-mail that the seller posted I NEVER said I wouldn't pay for the item - I repeat NEVER.  I simply asked to cancel the transaction and pay the EBAY fees. If he had just said no he wanted me to pay that would have been fine - I was happy to pay.  Instead, he bombarded me with nasty e-mails and threats of finding my daughter in the hospital and forcing her to pay.  I forwarded all those e-mails to Ebay and they advised me NOT to pay him.  End of story.

PS  There are plenty of ways to "break a contract" without breaking the law.

I apologize.  It was my understanding we should bring bad buyers to light on these forums so others wouldn't have to go through a bad experience.  It won't happen again.  This will be my last post here.
