Somewhere around '93, or so, one of my friends mothers went on the anti-D&D kick.  Strange, because she was quite a bit late and we were all in our 20's then.  But that didn't stop her from burning his stuff (and a few of my things he had borrowed).  The only things to survive were all his notebooks, folders, character sheets, etc.  He brought them to my house (where we gamed anyway) for safe keeping.  Numerous moves and two states later, I'm still hauling them around.  Just in case he ever wants them back.  They're not mine, so I wouldn't feel right throwing them out.
