I was sitting near the front on the right as you looked at the stage. I was never sure who was bidding, unless you were sitting right in front of me.

I thought Matt was buying the Traveller art. I wasn't really that interested, but couldn't let them go too cheap.

I was bidding on them as well.  I ended up with only 1, but it was the one I have always loved (the ship built into a huge asteroid).
I did spend quite a bit at the charity auction.  I just couldn't let so many great things go for dirt cheap...I mean it was a charity auction after all.

One thing I would like to say is a big Thank You to Jim Kitchen for making the Charity Auction one of my best experiences at Gen Con. He did a great job and should be praised for the amount of money he raised for the charity!!!!

I thought Matt was buying the Traveller art.

I may certainly be wrong about "most"...
but I did buy 10 pieces, some large, some small.

One (non-Acaeum) guy decided to jump in the deep end and, almost on impulse, bought 3 originals by Bradstreet. Each was over $100 (out of my poor budget range), all worth 5x what they went for.
