Very nice.  :)

Just curious, whenever I click on an auction that has already ended, I'm not carried to the auction but instead I end up with a blank page.  How does it work for everyone else?

I would be nice to be able to go an old auction to look at the specifics for comparison.  They seller's name link works fine and I usually just backtrack through their completed auctions to find it.  I was just wondering if this is a setting I have incorrect.  Thanks.    :)

Nope, that's a recurring bug that I've had trouble getting fixed.  What browser are you using?  More specifically, could you visit this page:

Useragent Detect | StatCounter Global Stats

... and report back your useragent string?  Thanks!

I actually have the same issue and have been using the same work around, so it's not that big of a deal.  I'm currently using Firefox 23.0.1( though I know FF 24 is out now).  Here's the stats from the page you posted:

Useragent Detection - Your Current Useragent:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0

Browser Name: Firefox
Browser Version: 23.0
OS: Win7
Hardware Vendor: Unknown
Hardware Model: Unknown
Screen Width:
Screen Height:
Is it a desktop device: Yes
Is it a mobile device: No
Is it a tablet: No
Is it a crawler/robot: No
Is it a console: No

Help us to improve our detection.. edit or amend these results!

Hope this helps.

Hmmm, we both use FF and I just tested a closed out auction through IE and it worked just as it should.

It must be a FF issue of some sort, perhaps in the coding.

Yep, it's a Firefox issue.  I believe Opera also has the same problem.  IE and Chrome do not.

Let's try this: when you click the link, and a blank page opens, look at the link in your address bar.  It should be:

Code:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/
** expired/removed eBay auction **
/?orig_cvip=true

Let's try removing the last forward slash.  So in your address bar, make the link this:

Code:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/
** expired/removed eBay auction **
?orig_cvip=true

... and hit "enter", see if it works.

I use FF as well and I just erase everything back to the auction number and it works fine.

You are correct on the address bar and removing the '\' from the address fixes the problem.   :D

This worked for me.

I also tried as removing everything to the right of the backslash(and including it) and that worked as well.

Note that this "true sales price" will only be shown on the eBay Preview Image, NOT the eBay widget (blame eBay for this).  As a reminder, you can enable the Previewer / enable Widgets / disable the system entirely via Control Panel, Board preferences, Edit display options.  Foul
PDT_Armataz_01_34 Sweet! Thanks for the deobfuscation, Scott. :)

Hey Scott---

Any chance you could either add a link for Seller's Other Auctions or change the seller link to point to their other auctions?  It would save a click or two from the auction listing or the seller profile.

I get the same behavior (i.e. blank page), using Mozilla Firefox v20.0 on Ubuntu Linux.

You shouldn't be getting that blank page now.  Make sure you refresh your browser / clear your cache, then try it again.
