And if the amount is ridiculously excessive, dont email the seller to tell them they should change it. That takes anonymity out of the equation and stuff like this happens. Alert Ebay about it and if they deem it is excessive the auction will be removed. I've gotten several sellers auctions pulled by doing this. The majority of the time it does work.

From personal experience, I know it's annoying enough to be mentioned in one of the "Silly Price" threads, but I'd probably go into an asshole-tearing internet rage if I was ever mentioned in a "Shady" thread. I'd make people cry.So I think you have every right to seethe for a bit. But I'll bet it doesn't seem quite as bad in a couple of weeks. If it doesn't, just hop right back on the train, and we'll go back to making fun of BadMike.

I'm a little confused also. You pulled an auction with a few hours to go because you had displayed an incorrect shipping cost?! I don't get that at all.Why not just let me and Pip' fight it out, along with whoever else was going to bid on it, and then ship it to the winner at whatever was the correct cost? There was no need to pull the whole auction on us because someone had questioned your shipping cost, whether we knew it was you or not.
"Your shipping is very excessive - maybe an error? Ebay does not allow that and you risk your feedback, or being banned from Ebay."
