Received mine as well today. Unfortunately the mailbox people rolled it to fit into the box ... again :evil: ...even though it says Do Not Bend. 8O

I thought EVERY house in America had a metal domed box on top of a post with a little red pop up flag when post arrived and paper boys throw the newspaper on your lawn... Another illusion dispelled...

I send all the modules first class parcel instead of just first class. First class has to be bendable, while parcel does not. I also include backers and write Do Not Bend on the package.

However, this still seems to have issues. I am leaning toward changing the mailing method. Problem is when anyone orders more than a couple modules the rate goes through the roof. Media mail is an option, but slow.

As slow as media mail is, that's how I usually receive my other D&D (3.5) items either through trades or Ebay.

So it's really not that big of a deal...

edit - Especially if you could pass down those savings to your customers  8)

Describing my home exactly...except that I wish I could get them to stop tossing that danged free community press newspaper into my front yard.  Who reads hardcopy news anymore?

Well, it would actually cost more for some buyers. Single module sales now cost $2 to ship. Media starts art $3.50 or so. And I currently do not charge for additional modules. So if you buy 10, you still only pay the $2.

I'd go so far as to say that the massive growth of eBay in the late '90s and early '00s, along with things like Amazon allowing sellers to use their catalogue to sell their own items, is what made Media Mail standard.

Before that, most people seemed content to either just ship First Class or else Parcel Post. That "book rate" thing was only for books, the thinking went.

That's my mileage, anyway. YMMV, of course.

My mailbox is bolted to the front porch.
The postman has to walk from house to house.
