It won't work if it isn't genuine Madame Laveau's Special Blessing Oil purchased from an authorized dealer. &nd don't mix it up with Madame Laveau's Holy Annointment Oil, which only works on bacterial infections.

Here in London things are still pretty normal, if perhaps a little bit quieter.

Quite a few facemasks (of varying kinds) on the underground. But apart from the fact that everyone is panic-buying hand sanitizer and loo roll, all ok ... for now...

I'd just use wash rags, or socks, underwear, t-shirts. Plenty of options that could be washed and sanitized (boiling water and bleach baby!)

Plus I have the advantage of being on a well here at the house (with a manual pump for backup!) If by chance the public utilities ever stopped working

I mean if babies used to be raised in cloth diapers (I was) I reckon we can wipe our asses with cloth if need be

The U.S. produces 7 BILLION rolls of toilet paper a year from locally sourced materials (trees). Purell is manufactured in Ohio and it's materials are also produced in the states. The point being there is no reason to believe that these items would have supply chain problems and hence become scarce. I would think that food would be a little more important. You won't need TP if you are not eating.

This is going to be an interesting study in human behavior. Many posts on Facebook are either, "You're over-reacting!" Or, "You need to do this or that...now!" It's obvious this is the worst pandemic any of us have seen in our lifetimes(especially until we get treatments and a vaccine), and it's equally obvious that most people won't die from it, but all the unknowns about when it will hit each of our respective communities and what will happen to the people we know and love can result in people doing and saying things they wouldn't normally. I suspect diss ease will sideline more folks than this disease.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if someone on these forums gets COVID-19 eventually. But unless anyone is elderly or has pre-existing conditions, it's not likely to kill any of us. I personally plan to go to NTX with my 24 year-old son this summer unless they cancel it. In other words, I'm going to continue to do my best to live a normal life. But if someone doesn't attend, or stocks toilet paper until their linen closet overflows, to each his own.

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.

Apologies in advance: you are writing about smtg you dont know. It'd be better to get informed on what it is happening around the world: you cant live a normal life. If you do that you help the spread of the virus. I live in a red zone and the rules are not living a normal life. Be safe Aia. I am less than 50 miles from the New Rochelle NY quarantine zone and have a child that is immunocompromised. Hyper-awareness of everyone in your immediate surroundings when outside is both terrifying and exhausting. At some point you resign to the fact that you will catch this fkn bug and hopefully come out the other side ok.
