I informally polled other people in the audience and they didn't like the technology problem either, so it wasn't just my glasses or me. Anyway, go to the theater if you must, but I'd wait until it came out on a DVD/BluRay.

They did a great job with Asgard (a mixture of super science and fantasy, just like Jack Kirby's version), the Warriors Three and Sif (Volstagg was not fat enough, though), Odin (and even worked in the Odin Sleep), Loki, and other stuff. Introduced Hawkeye but didn't give him nearly enough screen time. The dude who played Thor was absolutely spot on perfect with his look (his acting chops may not be that great, but it's a comic book movie). Natalie Portman was adequate. Managed to not take itself too seriously. Hope they don't screw up The Avengers movie when it comes around.Mike B.

He drew the Talons and the two of them chuckled about how cleaver they were....until I pointed out that the smart-ass buddy was also missing some of his magic items in addition to the loaned items. I made him roll randomly to determine which seven items were gone. The Deck of Many Things is not stupid and is nothing to be trifled with.
