When I was involved in collectable comics we ran into this problem with repros of independent comcis. The TMNT early issues were easily faked, and then some of the more pricy mature reader stuff like the Crow and Cry for Dawn. When mass produced items become collectable and go intot he multiple hundreds in dollar value someone is going to start faking them. A lot of problems can be hidden when you have an item that is not going to be unsealed. Hell they could take a booklet from a common B3 or any similar module and go the extra mile and print the cover on stiff cardboard like some of the independents are doing, or even some of the DCC line of modules.

Not saying this suddenly found shrinkwrap is fake, but that last B3 wasnt in shrink and looks fake as hell.

I was comparing covers earlier, too, with the pdf copy and his photos and there were some similarities, but not completely...specifically the art. One thing I mentioned in a previous post was the cropping of the art in the green version versus the orange version. His orange B3 was the correct cropping, but the front and back art would have needed to be cleaned up in photoshop a lot from the pdf.

That reminds me, as you look through his previously sold items, there's a bunch of stuff in shrink, including a number bought by porthawkesbury (the guy bidding high on many sw items that we discussed in a different thread). I wonder if he or someone else can compare the shrink jobs to other known legitimate ones?

An orange B3 in shrink is such a rarity I  would want to know the history of it. There aren't many places this module could have come from that I know of, so I would be very interested to hear this ones provenance.

I don't think that would be a problem for you since you have a good reputation, but maybe contact the guy you got it from and see if they can link it back to at least the previous seller.

That would surprise me.
He never made mention of having ever owned a copy of an Orange B3 to me, much less TWO copies.
And I honestly think he would have mentioned it at one of our irregular Table Top Gaming Sessions if so.

I think it is a differnt "Mike" than Badmike.

The query wasn't asking if Mike had shrink copies of an Orange B3, but if the shrinked items he 'won' via proxy from the seller of the current B3 debate seemed to be original shrink compared to others he may already have.
